Stitch

Stitches....Numerous stitches. This is the center block of a quilt that my mom made for me several years ago. It is an Around the World quilt pattern. She hand-pieced and hand-quilted it. There are more that 1,000 blocks in the quilt. This the center block which is the only one of its kind in the quilt and comes from fabric that she made one of my dresses when I was a little girl.

T,
way to go --a second blog--I would put mine on a separate blog, but then I'd have 4 blogs! so for right now I'll keep it on O'z Ark.
the quilt in the slide show on my challenge for stitch is hanging in the stairwell.

Thanks ladies for your comments. Doesn't this challenge just remind you that it really is such a small world. That women from all over the country and world can unite with a common interest! This is still quite amazing to me-to be a part of something so wide-spread!
